The Story

Dreams. Pressure. Love.

Asha Gupta is a senior in high school with a foot in two worlds. Her mother dreams of a daughter in medicine—obedient, predictable, safe. But Asha has spent every early morning at practice, quietly building a case for a Division 1 soccer scholarship.

Everything changes when Nikki Shay—a celebrated soccer star with a legend that precedes her—transfers to Asha's varsity team. Rivals first. Then something more. Set against the roar of a stadium and the pulse of a Bollywood beat, Chalo! asks what it means to finally run toward who you really are.

The show dances between pop anthems and dramatic ballads, between immigrant parents and their American-born children, between the girl the world expects and the one who dares to show up.
